Autumn leaves are brown

Autumn. Aw....autumn. My favorite time of year. The leaves are beginning to change and that wonderful smell is in the air. ......awww.....

School has begun and it's off to a great start. I'm really enjoying my schedule this term. I'm taking Color Pencil Portrait, Watercolor 102, Cartooning 301, and Art History. Watercolor and Color Pencil are my two favorite mediums, so maybe this is why I'm enjoying my classes so much. I've been wanting to take Art History for quite a long time now and I feel like a sponge in the class, absorbing as much information as I can. My Art History teacher is a wonderful instructor who does a great job appealing to the right-brain student. She normally teaches left-brain classes, like Web Design, other Computer classes, and now Art History. But she has a wonderful talent at taking these types of classes and helping the right-brain student to better understand.

MSOA has such wonderful instructors! I'm so proud to be among a great group of people at this school. This term I am teaching Creative Writing, Novel Writing and for the first time, I am now teaching Animal Drawing. I love drawing animals! I've been drawing them for over 30 years! Animals is what I started off drawing when I was a kid. I'm enjoying teaching the students.

I'm not teaching Cartooning for the first time in 6 years! Interns are teaching my cartooning 101 classes on Thursday and Friday and they are doing a great job.

I'm taking Cartooning 301 from the president of MSOA, who is just about the best instructor EVER. She's helping me develop my Lucy-Goosey series and I'm excited to see what new things/ideas/strips I'll come up with under her guidance.

Keep your eye on my website, as I will be posting my newest LG stuff whenever I finish them.

Awww.....exciting things happen in the Fall. Time for creating and learning and growing. Life just doesn't get any better than this.
